BBC Junior Badminton
The BBC is pleased to offer a Junior Badminton program for ages 9-17. The program will be coached by NCCP Level 1 coach Tracey Pocaluyko, NCCP Level 2 coach Tracy Smith and former McMaster Varsity Badminton Coach (1996-1999) Greg Smith with coaching assistance by Sagar Arora and Naren Govindarajulu. All levels of coaching are offered, from beginner to competitive.

Rates:
Full season (October-April) $250.00
Per session (October-December or January-April) $140.00
$25 discount on full session Junior membership if a parent joins the BBC Adult club.
Fall session: Wednesday Sept. 10th to Sunday Dec. 21st
Winter session: Wednesday January 7th to Wednesday April 15th
Hours of play:
Wednesday 6:30-8:00pm, Sunday 1:00-2:30pm and 2:30-4:00pm (open play with parents who are club members or subject to coach availability)
Beginners:
This program provides an introduction to badminton learning game basics and developing coordination, balance and agility.
It is a non-competitive fun oriented program with an emphasis on being active and meeting new friends.
Don't forget to bring your own racquet and protective eye guards are mandatory.
Intermediate/Competitive:
This program provides an opportunity for players with some experience and prior training to improve their skills and prepare for competition.
Best suited for participants who are currently playing at an intermediate level.
Wednesday evenings will be a ladder format of organized games that will enhance your skill.
Don't forget to bring your own racquet and protective eye guards are mandatory.
For all Junior club members:
Please note: On Sundays, after the coached program ends at 2:30, children and their parents (who are BBC club members) may stay and play together on designated courts up until 4:00pm!
Court shoes with non-marking soles are required (no basketball shoes).
